Last Sunday, Daniil Lashin outlined team’s tech road map, and today, Evgeny Gordeev is revealing a product-related part.
The community plays a key role in the network’s progress, initiating listings, development of interesting projects, votings, and promotions — all by itself. This reduces the load on the team, allowing it to concentrate on fundamental goals that will eventually benefit everyone.
Let’s skip our past achievements and jump right to the years 2020 and 2021:
- Direct Ads. Minter Development Foundation has been officially recognized a charitable organization in the U.S. — i.e., it has no shareholders, nor does it make a profit. This means that we can launch MinterID and advertise it as a main entry point to any blockchain (Minter, sidechains, BTC/ETH multi-wallets, and more) while at the same time prohibiting anyone from profiting off of user data. Only a company with such a structure and message can freely use money (fiat) to place ads across leading platforms — such as Google, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter — knowing there will be no consequences for the network or its individual users alike. Kudos to our legal staff who worked hard for a year and a half to obtain this status, given the whole TON situation.
- Popularization. We plan to make a big entrance onto the global stage: we have a lot to showcase, the mainnet has been up and running for over a year now, there are great SDK and API available, not to mention the speed and performance. We now have the confidence to promote all of that globally, in any country and for any type of transactions. Next week, we will present MinterID so that the most engaged members of our community can submit their works and, if they qualify, get POP coins. For us, it is vital that each and every one makes their own, personal contribution toward popularizing the network. Such a complex mechanism can’t be squeezed into one slogan like “Use Minter.” I may be mistaken here, but I’ve never seen a blockchain that would join hands with its users in organizing such a long-term campaign, where all active participants can make their own choice as to what and how to promote.
- Rewards and Gifts. Three years of pilots and development first narrowed the scope of application cases for fast and liquid cryptocurrencies down to rewards, game coins, achievements, and system tokens, and then, to a product that anyone with a smartphone will soon be able to use. Businesses perfectly understand what loyalty points and gifts are, especially in a crisis year — everyone wants to retain their valued customers and decrease costs they spend on acquiring new. Local firms, global brands, popular services, bloggers — they all need an incentive mechanism. You won’t find a single business category among which customer loyalty would be even slightly underestimated. You have all seen how cool MinterPush works as a concept, imagine it becoming an all-in-one solution for businesses and their clientele. Loyalty Instagram is a place where clients communicate with businesses through rewards and gifts — using MinterID to sign in, of course! Only real users, only legit firms.
We have one year to make MinterID a primary system for managing cryptos and blockchains, popularize the network itself along with BIP and custom coins, and get businesses to realize a competitive advantage they would enjoy if they powered gifts and rewards by secure decentralized systems.
Personally, I have no doubt that everything will work out. We passed the most challenging stages of any startup: idea, MVP, launch, system improvements, searching for a business model, and doing a small focus group to test it. We are now ready to launch a full expansion on a global scale.
We want to thank everyone who believes in our project, our community, and horizons the Internet of Money can open!
Taking off!
